Re: [IP] Sports & the pump



Susie,  our son Gus(3rd grade) plays competetive ice hockey and soccer.
He's a fearless skier and wants to take up football next year.  The only
thing he disconnects for is hockey.  The pump is uncomfortable under the
pads.  He reduces his basal rate for soccer and skiing.  I'm not sure I'll
let him play anything more than the playground touch football he and his
friends love.  Baseball seems like a slower game, and it'd be cumbersome to
disconnect/connect frequetly for at-bats.  I'd have your son figure out a
way to wear the pump during games.  Hope he has a good season!
