[IP] Insurance

Fran,
This is illegal, if you had insurance at the previous company, you must be
allowed to have it now. Also, if you were covered by a standard insurance
plan with previous company, you must be immediately covered by new company
policy. It is Federal Law, no pre-existing condition hold if you were
previously covered. HOWEVER, if you turn down the open enrollment when
you first are hired, it is a different story.

Fran, your company negotiated that contract. Don't let anyone tell you
differently. Fight this one with your HR, with the CEO, with your
insurance commissioner, with your insurance broker.

Here's wishing you all the moral support 2000 plus pumpers can gather.

The good doctor said it well in his message. The insurance company's plan
is to deny everything. OUR PLAN TO CONTINUALLY BE THE SQUEAKY WHEEL THAT
DRIVES THEM TO ACCEPTANCE!!! It is just a fact of life.
Good luck!

Bonnie
