Subject: [IP] Behavior modification

Hi Jan,
You're allowed to forget to bolus once in a while, but if you forget too
many days in a row, you will lose your internet priveledges. Now, that
ought to keep you straight! And, then will move on to credit card loss for
a day. Yikes!

After I wrote that message last night, Jenna got an occlusion alarm this
morning at breakfast. It was a site-change day anyways, so we got ready to
do the site change, and realized that the REAL problem was that there was no
insulin in the cartridge (don't know why we got an occlusion instead of a no
insulin alarm, but anyways). We got the insulin cartridge out of the fridge
(we always keep one in there pre-filled and de-bubbled for days just like
today), and put it into the pump. Problem was, that the alarm had happened
right after she'd done her breakfast bolus - and we forgot to re-bolus after
everything was hooked back up. So, she called me at lunch with a queasy
stomach and a 503 blood sugar. Oops. No "consequences" for Jenna for this,
but mom may need a lash or two with a wet noodle.
