Re: [IP] skin prep

There is another product, called "Remove" which is also manufactured by
Smith+Nephew which is subtitled as "Universal Adhesive Remover Wipe" that
you can use to get the tape off after using the Skin Prep to get it to stick
better. I use it and while it is still a pain, and often difficult to get
it off, these wipes tend to make it easier, as they dissolve the adhesive on
the tape. Just peel a corner, then wipe and drip the pad into the area
between the tape and your skin, and pull. Remove has the Smith+Nephew
number 403100 on it. As for the "barrier" it makes it sticky, but also acts
as a barrier so that the adhesive sticks to the sticky substance left by the
Skin Prep and not so much to the skin, thus decreasing irritation and
allergic reaction to the tape.
