Just a bit of unsolicited advice from an experienced pumper...

When I have an unexplained high, it is more of a hassle to bolus than to take
an injection.

With the injection, you watch the insulin go into you and you know it will
immediately start working. If you rely upon a bolus to delvier the insulin,
all of it, some of it, or none of it may be delivered as the problem may be
the infusion set. The primary focus should be at getting the bgs down, then
if they start to climb again you will know it is the infusion set.
