[IP] counting carbs

Going back to the thread about carb counting when eating out, here's
the helpful <g> advice from "Stop the Rollercoaster". 

"Take your gram scale and Appendix A of this book [listing of carb
factors and GI indexes] with you to the restaurant. Pretend you are a
government inspector or food critic. your self-consciousness will be
more than offset by your improved control and the extra service you
receive from the waiter."

Do food critics carry around scales and weigh everything they eat in
te US? I'm sure they don't here!
