[IP] Re: insulin-pumpers-digest V13 #1187

Old days
I was diagnosed 53 years ago when I was 27. Already had two preschool aged
kids. Still chasing blood sugars, still a brittle diabetic. Did lose an eye to
diabetic retinopathy and just got a new heart valve. Been lucky to lead a pretty
normal life with no complications. Can't believe we had to make treatment
decisions based on urine testing. Been using a pump since 1999
Just got the new Minimed 630G. Finally a screen that I can read. And finally a
pump as good as my old cosmo.
Nice to hear from some other old timers
