 Every year several cars are broke into in Yosemite for food that has been
locked away. One year the back end of a van was ripped off for a pack of nutter
butters. Better to use a lock box in the campground, or hang your food.

hi i called the forest ranger in west yellowstone , montana, and they
"thought" the bear would
not be bothered as it is not a food value, and as long as you keep food
inside the car and
keep the camp clean as clean as possible, no food on ground,and if you go
hiking  a lot
change your clothes after cooking, as they can smell food on you,  i go
camping in mountains and never have problems . enjoy our mountains,  pauline
