[IP] ladies only question

So, suddenly about 2 years ago I started developing extreme insulin
resitance as part of PMS. I have to increase my basals 200 - 300%. My carb
ratio get's all funky, fluctuates all ver the board, I can hardly get belw
250 postprandial. I admit, I am trigger shy for inducing a low at time
because it seems I suddenly require SO much insulin. For example I had a egg
white omelette with broccolli, feta and tomatoes with half a pita for
breakfast. I bolused my guesstimated PMS carb ratio of 1 unit for every 3
carbs. 3 hours later I was 292!

Then as soon as the cycle starts my insulin needs plummet below normal for 2
days (basals, not carb ratios). Then my insulin resistance goes UP again
until a day or two after it all ends. Not only that I gain about 2lbs during
my period each month because I am taking such large amts of insulin.

My Endo actually insisted that this isnt happening >:( Says I just need t
eat less when PMSing. That I was just less active, and that my insulin
requirements should go down. This is a new endo I started seeing, so I am
cnsidering switching. DOes anythin similar happen t any of you? I find this
all s frustrating. I get sick from the entire ordeal too.
