There are strange things done, which I wouldn't call fun, by diabetics
young and old
Their pumps have trails of untold tales - which could make you're
insulin run cold
It was always sweet, though no sugar we eat, while we strive to maintain
a perfect A1c
'Till that night, with a 24*7 glucose monitor in sight
I decided to go extreme readings free!!
One day, in the middle of the night, a diabetic ran to the bathroom in
fright
He 'caught' the goods and carefully - Fed the tube with drops of pee
He dropped in the pill and watched it quake
A VERY hot mix it then did make!
Put out a request for a reader, so nice
who could differentiate colors - important advice
Colourblindness can be an awesomely embarresing when
You've got to do color based sugars over and over and over again!!!
