[IP] Re: How long can one use tubing

What is the straight scoop for use of the tubing that goes from the pump to
the infusion set? I understand that the set itself must be changed every
two to three days for risk of infection, but Disetronic now says that the
tubing need be changed every other site change. Why replace the tubing at
all until the cartridge is empty? What realistic (i.e. not hypothetical)
risk is there for infection when you are changing the infustion site every
two to three days? Thanks in advance for helpful information.
