I'm wondering if the Cozmo reports remaining insulin based on a reading of
the actual remaining (like Animas does) or based on a calculated amount (i.e.
what you tell the pump you put in when you change cartridges minus boluses
and basals delivered -- as some of the other pump makes do) . . .

If it's the latter, a simple error in inputting the original amount (if you
have to do that) or not having a fully loaded cartridge (say because you lost
some while trying to clear bubbles out before loading the cartridge or some
such thing) could account for it failing to report low/no insulin remaining .
. .

So sorry your little one had to go through this and that all of you had to
deal with something like this when far from home (which always makes it
harder). Hope she's feeling fine now! Take care . . .
