I do it every weekday.  If I am low, I'll eat some candy and go.  If I am
high, I will bolus about 1/2 of my normal correction and go.  This morning,
I was 190, so I took 0.7 units.  My normal correction would have been 1.5
units, and when I was done, I was 123.  Good Luck.
