Re: [IP] cozmo dosing units vs carbs

Responding to: Is it easy to switch from one method to the other (i.e. have
it calculate the bolus for you based on carbs for one meal and have you
specify the units to bolus the next?

Absolutely. Keep your Cozmo programmed for dosing by carb grams.

To bolus by unites of insulin the dialog for a meal bolus goes as follows:

1. MENU
2, MEAL BOLUS
3. STANDARD
4. CARBOHYDRATES - leave as 0
5. ADD CORRECTION BOLUS
If bg is high or low, YES and then bg
If near target or you have a recent correction NO
6. Cosmo then display the suggested bolus.
Add your meal units to any suggested correction units
7. DELIVER

To bolus by Carbs the dialog for a meal bolus goes as follows:

1. MENU
2, MEAL BOLUS
3. STANDARD
4. CARBOHYDRATES - enter carb grams
5. ADD CORRECTION BOLUS
If bg is high or low, YES and then bg
If near target or you have a recent correction NO
6. Cosmo then display the suggested bolus.
If you choose you can raise or lower.
7. DELIVER

Very Simple!
