Tests, yes - A1c? No. Looking at your lab-order sheet, are there other tests
besides the A1c checked off, like a lipid panel? Your endo may want a chem
profile and cholesterol, etc. and fasting could be required for those to be
accurate. Fasting for an A1c seems to be useless.
