brittle diabetes-A type of Type 1 diabetes in which the blood-glucose
level fluctuates widely from high to low. Brittle diabetes can be caused
by the complete loss of ability to produce any insulin, by too high an

the harder to control version of type 1 and that sometimes the drs
cannot figure out how to properly treat...I was 6 when I first heard
this term and it was explained to me (I'm not brittle, but someone else
in my elementary school was and she still spends 1wk in the hospital a
month if she's lucky)....

    Where does this come from??? My endo told me that (brittle) mean's
out of

control and so far (with me )I think he's right?? is that true??
