My daughter uses the 24" tubing with ~20u prime, which
works out to .83u per inch, or in other words, more
than 3/4u per inch.

up and empty tube and prime until it's full. Note the
amount. You
will find that it's about 20 - 25 u for a 43" tube. Do
the math.
