Re: [IP] CGMS Question to those who have used it, or those going to use it



Over a year ago, my primary doctor and I asked Minimed for a demonstration
of the CGMS. They came and I used it once before the pump and once after. My
primary doctor and his partners declined to purchase the CGMS but I remember
it as being only about $3000 with software and the insertion kit about or a
little more than my infusion sets. My primary had figured that it would be
about 12 or so patients at what the insurance companies would reimburse to
break even.
