Well, considering as how the HMO will first lose your papers, second,
tell you that the person who handles that is on vacation, third, tell
you you don't have the right documentation, fourth, lose all the
paperwork you've sent them, and five deny it on the first try, I'd
estimate about 4 months. Then, they'll refuse billing for supplies,
saying it wasn't authorized, and finally will tell you you could have
saved a lot of money by going through their preferred provider, wich
charges double or triple what the stuff should really cost.  

Or at least that's what happened to me, and I'm on a PPO!

Asked for a pump in October 1998, and didn't get ON it until March 1999.
