[IP] Re: Cranky Hypo Guy Scares Girlfriend

Thanks for asking, Jan. I wish I could say my blood sugar hasn't led me
down the cranky path a few times since I posted my original message. I
scared Mia again a week or so ago when I became very defensive about the
work I do as a songwriter (not my full time job), and all she was doing was
suggesting I send a tape to a big festival in NYC to try and get a gig. My
personality changes so radically that I don't blame her for getting upset.
But we're both capable of being hard-headed if provoked, so the argument
can go on and on and usually ends in a standoff. I do the occasional tweak
of the basal rates, but work and play can sometimes put me into a trances
that I don't realize I'm deep into until someone asks me a question and my
verbal skills are kaput.
We're still very much in love, believe it or not! I don't know how I got so
Hope you're well,
