For the parent of any small child for whom you will do the insertion, 
it is a MUST that you do several insertions on yourself so you have a 
clear understanding of how it feels and how the set should go in.

If at some point you decide to switch infusion sets, go through the 
exercise again so you know the drill and don't hurt your "baby". Kids 
have less sub-cu fat, so insertions can not be as deep for them.
