Hi Kim,

I would strongly recommend a spacer/holding chamber for your son.  The major
brands are Aerochamber and Optichamber.  The chambers make the inhalers
easier to use and increase the deposition of the medication into the lungs
where it is needed.  Flovent is a great medication.  I prescribe it more
than all of the other inhaled steroids combined.  Ask your doc about an
Aerochamber and review inhaler technique at your next visit.  A great asthma

about asthma.
