Re: [IP] Update on the Baby-Zilla and Dr. Charming

I have been thinking and praying for you a lot but haven't yet responded.
Just wanted to add my 2 cents worth. I live in a small town--there are
family docs here but no endos and no experience with pumps. I drive over 50
miles to the nearest city in order to get a good pump doc. I called the ADA
when I got here and asked for recommendations. They said they didn't
recommend individual docs but they gave me the name of the Diabees Ed.
Center in the area nad they in turn gave me the name of docs they
recommend. It turned out very well for me!! I know Bowling Green isn't
huge--so go wherever you need to in order to get good care. I would
recommend getting out of the system you are currently in. Don't go to the
other endo in the same system if you can avoid it. Birds of a feather flock
together. Good docs don't usually like to associate with not-so-good
docs--it's bad publicity. Call the ADA or the JDF or even your pmp reps and
ask them who they recommend. That way you will know where to start!
Prayers ascending!
