Re: [IP] Emla

Heyt, weait--Pady, who HATES for ANYONEto touch his stomach, did absolutely
FINE without th emla--one expense and worry down the drain! Seriously, he
put on a HUGE fuss, screaming and runnning around like he did when we first
brought him home from hospital(4/98) and then I just said, well, we're gonna
do it like we did it then--I'm going to hold you down and do it. But he
settled down, I only had to hold his arms, and the trainer did it. then he
laughed and said--hey, that was not so bad!
I am soo relieved!!
I think because I insisted and told him I believed he could do it he
believed ME.
You might want to try without, cuse it is sure cheaper, and apparently it
takes a long time, so you would have to delay site changes. I was really
worried bout that if I needed to do a quick one, cause I would not want his
bgs to be going wacky for two hours wheile I was waiting for the emla to
kick in
CONGRATULATIONS by the way--Paddy's appt is 28th with doc, and then we can
start for REAL!
Charisma :)
