[IP] Intrinsically Safe Insulin Pump

Is anyone or know anyone wearing an insulin pump, possibly on the QT, to work
as an underground miner or any other occupation (examples - refinery, natural
gas pump station, chemical plant, or other flammable fuel handling facility)
may take them into an area where an explosive atmosphere could develop and
intrinsically safe equipment is mandated?
Or anyone with type 1 diabetes that is not wearing an insulin pump because
their occupation environment requires intrinsically electrical devices.
Would like to get some idea of how many pump wearers need a pump that is
listed asintrinsically safe. Then convince at least one of the pump
manufacturers there is a market.
