There are other variables to take into account. Are your boluses
correct? Are your blood sugars fluctuating at different times of the
day with same activity levels? Are you eating foods that may bring
your blood sugars up later on? Do you have different basal rates going
in 24 hours?

I find that even with the pump, you still have to keep somewhat of a
routine. Your basals should be set to go around your daily routine.
Sometimes your more active than other times. Some times of the day you
may just require more insulin. It takes a while to fine tune your
basals to fit your needs. Don't give up!
