I can remember getting elephants ears at a small bakery near my house.. but
it had very little bread.. it was mostly a glaze frosting with cinnamon and
some nuts in it that had been poured and then allowed to harden.. there might
have been something else to give it a little more body - but it was mostly
sugar.
