[IP] RE: bone scan

I broke my foot in Dec '02 and was still having pain after the break was
healed, so the Dr's did a bone scan. I got an injection 4 hrs before the scan.
The use a big camera called a gamacam. I laid on a big table and they position
this monster over the break and it moves around and does it's thing. I took my
pump off to be on the safe side. It only took about 20 minutes total for both
feet. No sweat!
Dx'd 02/01/ pumping almost the whole time

Subject: [IP] Bone Scan

Well, after seeing several "bone breakers", one feels that my hip pain is
arthritis even though I'm 29 and very active (see, exercise is BAD for you).
Anyone out there had a bone scan? Can you describe the process better than my
impatient orthopod? Did you experience any issues with your pump? How long
did the process take? Anyone know any good rheumatologists in AZ? I'm just
full of questions.

Thanks in advance,
