I have a Paradigm and I use the square wave a lot I used it with the 508 to.
The ideal for me is to use the dual wave function so I get a small bolus
then an extend one.  It works best for me if I have a high fat meal like
pizza. I think you have to experiment a little with this because each of us
id different.  Like another poster suggested can you get a loaner to try
