     That's where I wear mine while driving, and also have no problem.  It's 
usually cilped to my waistband, so I just clip it on the left if it isn't 
there already. and slide it back until it's in that little gap between the 
 seatbelt and the back of the seat, and find that I still have plenty of slack,
with the 23" tubing.
