I had folliculitis on my scalp and on my leg. The doc treated it twice with
antibiotics then I had both sores surgically removed. I also had some in my
arm pits that went away with the antibiotic treatments and never came back.
A long time ago (my first armpit rash) I had some antibiotic wash stuff to
wash my armpits with but the wash stuff seemed to cause dry skin. I know
that tanning helps dry up the pimple too. They were not cancerous just a
pain to get rid of. My doc said they aren't diabetes related because
non-diabetic people can get them too. Take care Sharon B
