Re: [IP] Eye Problems

Hi Bonnie,

I had sonething similar happen to me about a year ago,
except I lost most of my vision in my right eye. It
turned out to be proliferative diabetic retinopathy.
The blood in my eye disappeared over 6 months and I
regained most of my vision. I just lost a little
peripherally. I did have several laser treatments
done. Because I am pregnant, about 2 weeks ago my
right eye started to bleed again. My retina
specialist said that I don't need laser, but the
bleeding can happen again.

My advice to you is to see an opthamologist, not
optician that specializes in diabetic eye disease. I
would see one as soon as possible. Once vision is
lost, you can't replace it. Take care of your eyes!!!
It's better to be safe than sorry.
Good Luck!
