Sharon--- I was told a diabetic can't donate blood because the donor (the
diabetic) sometimes can not handle the donation (rough on their system) and
need all the good stuff in their own blood... it's not that they would not
use it for someone else, just to dangerous for the diabetic donor.  Not sure
if true but heard from a person who works at a plasma donating clinic here
in the town I live in.  Jenni
