i lived in phoenix for many years and constantly fought the heat, mostly
carrying around insulin (i was on MDI at the time). the frio was not
available at the time so i used insulated bags. i believe my meter was
the lifescan one touch and it never malfunctioned because of heat, and
it did get hot from time to time.
