RE: [IP] Absorbtion problems

I have! I have been using the sofsets with my MM508 since I started on
the pump just over a month ago. I got a sample of a quickset from my
docter and tried it out on Monday. For the next two days I had several
very high bg's (350+), but my bgs have been running much more stable
than this for the past few weeks. I changed out the set after two days,
with a sofset, and my bgs have been fine since then.

I also noticed with the quickset that (1) large bubbles seemed to be
appearing in the tubing (1" long) and (2) when I took the set out the
area was kind of hard and sore. I'm hoping these problems may have been
with just the particular site/set that day since I do like the set a bit
better than the sofsets (even though it looks like they're not
available!)

Subject: [IP] Absorbtion problems

Has anyone had any problems with the absorbtion with quick sets being
much different than that of the softsets? I have been having problems
with high blood sugars for several days and have switched back to the
softsets and I think the quicksets may have been the problem.
