As with pretty much all the complications of Diabetes, keep the blood sugars
under control and if a problem develops, see the doctor early.  Every diabetic
should see a podiatrist 4 times a year.  If you are ever concerned about anything
with your feet (especially swelling, redness, heat, pain, discoloration, etc.)
see the doctor immediately.  If it is nothing the doctor will still appreciate
you checking in and you can relax.  But if it is something and you don't go, you
WILL be sorry.
