I think that varies according to the person and I didn't see your previous

But in my wildest dreams, I'd like to have the A1c I had when I first started
suspecting I was becoming diabetic -- 4.8.

I sincerely doubt that will ever happen again, but I'd still like to see under
6.0. Which I haven't achieved lately, either.

I don't think I'll obsess over it unless it goes over 7.0 though -- and I doubt
the doc would obsess unless it got over 8.0.

So far, no complications, but I know that I'm too early in the game to relax
about that -- this summer will be 8 years since diagnosis.
