Re: [IP] Fast Take Software--Free Meters

I have gone through their website, contacting them via e-mail. This is what
I wrote: I was wondering if you could help me to obtain (which ever meter
you were trying for, we went for Profile). We recently filed with insurance
for a meter and are unable to receive coverage for another one. Obtaining
the strips is not a problem (at least in our case) as the insurance will
cover which ever strips we need. We are looking for a backup meter as he
test his blood sugar at least 6-10 times a day at minimum (this will get
them as they know that they make the money on the strips) and he is hoping
to go on the pump soon (we ask our doctor on Thursday). Any assistance you
could give us would be greatly appreciated.

PS I did this for a Profile and AccuCheck Complete, and they are both on
their way to him. This was after I tried to get them through a phone call
to the company and both companies gave me the same run around: you can buy
one and get rebates, trade one in etc...
