Wow I was surprised at this I wish my dawn was like this.
When we decided what to put me on, my doc had me take a 2,3,4,5,6, and 7 am 
blood sugar the night before the pump.  No long acting insulin.
2am=130
3am=190
4am=210
5am=250
6am=290
7am=335.

they had me take a bolus after we got the pump going.  A big one.  My average 
rise is from 200-300mg/dl.
