[IP] Inexplicable Rising Bgs

Evening everyone:
Was chatting with some "pump moms" at the Children with Diabetes Pump
Chat Room tonight & a new pumper was having erratic bgs....Ellen ( of
CamelsRFun's KidsRPumping website) has a fantastic ped. endo who has put over
200 kids on pumps...Here's her "theory" according to Ellen:

"Could just be a kinked site too Lori. Sounds like the insulin would be
fine in the pump. Or, sometimes, as my endo has suggested, the tip of the
canula gets lodged against some sub-q skin that's tough and doesn't let the
basal by, and just the forced boluses get by. That's why after the bolus it
goes down but then climbs back up."
