[IP] Neuropathy
Friends,
I have been Type 1 for 53 years with little complications. I am experiencing
something now that is perplexing. I have been diagnosed with carpel tunnel and
neuropathy in both arms. Nothing in my feet which seems pretty crazy. It has
been confirmed by EMG. I have not opted to have surgery because I have no pain
just tingling but nothing I can't stand. My question is that I have lost most of
the muscle tissue in my hands and forearms. It looks like my hands are 100+
years old and all the veins are protruding. If I have the surgery could it be
reversed or is there anything I can do to increase the muscle mass. My darling 6
years old grand daughter said I should lift teeny tiny weights!!
Thanks for any help,
Dawn
