I was both interested and sorry to hear that Metformin was confirmed to have
been harmful to your kidneys.  However, surely this would have to depend on
the state of your kidneys before you started taking it.  I do not have a
kidney doctor to check this out with but will keep it in mind.

I would check with a kidney doctor.  Metaformin was proven harmful to my
kidneys when they put me on it twice a day in place of insulin 4 years ago.
