RE: [IP] minimed supplys



Hot dogs are sold by the pound; 1/4 lb dogs are 4 per pound, most are sold
as 1/10 of a pound which is 10 per pound.  Buns are sold either 8 per
package or by the dozen.  So you never will have the right number of dogs to
the buns.  Just the way it is, the butcher uses a different kind of math
than the baker.  Lucky they don't through in that old baker's dozen
thing......  anybody remember those days?

you know I was thinking this same thing.

has ANYONe ever figured out why there are 8 buns per bag and 10 or 12 hot 
dogs??

we re trying to do the math on this one right now for our summer bbq this 
weekend.
