Re: [IP] insulin resistance and pumps

I was also told I am insulin resistant. I was diagnosed 36 years ago. In Feb.
2006 I was totally out of control with an a1c of over 8.5. With an aggressive
endo and I'm now pumping since May 06 my a1c is 7.1 and I'm in better control.
We still have fine tuning to do, but we are on the upswing!

I have very intense insulin resistance. I was diagnosed at age 11, 20 years
ago and have ben pumping now for 7 months. It has completelybrought my BG
under control (A1c 5.7)
I was told that I would see signifigant weight loss with thepump, bound to
help with the resistance, and have not, but otherwise, have had every
expectation exceeded!
