Re: [IP] MM payments

I also am in the VA Service Connected program. I do pay a copay on my meds
which
are not Service Connected disability related. Also, I have tried to get my
prescription for Vytorin (cholesterol) medication which has recently been added
 to the VA formulary
through the VA. But, they have refused until they experiment with other
cholesterol meds dosage changes first.

I also have not succeeded in having the VA provide me with Quick-Sets and
reservoir's.
Their reason was that they do not have an Endo that has pump expertise. I am
in the
process of changing to the Providence, RI VA Hospital to see if I can get
an Endo with
pump knowlwdge.

I go through the VA also. I never paid a dime for anything with my MM pump
or
any of the supplies. Of course, I have no outside insurance. Barbara
. Hang in there and have a great day in spite of MM!!!!
