YMMV but for me I needed a pump that used the largest type font so I could
read the screen without always having to use a magnifying glass.   Part of
my decision to use the Animas 1250 was the fact that I was able to see the
info on the screen.   So thinking that the pumps need to be smaller might
not work well for those with visual complications.   Don't think I would
want it too much smaller because it would also be hard to hold, etc. when
the hands are very stiff, etc.

Also you cell phone does not need a stepper motor and precision pressure
sensors.
