Cindy,

 The range of BMI was 23.2 to 29.4 which puts these subjects in the normal
and overweight range.  That is just one of the entry criteria set up in this
particular study.  In any case the original post I made was that oral agents
ARE being used for patients with type 1 diabetes.  This is just one of the
many studies looking at the issue.
