Miki, may want to review your diet with a registered dietician experienced 
with diabetes.  May be able to make some dietary changes that would 
decrease your incidence of lows.  Consider adding 1 Tablespoon uncooked 
cornstarch to your bedtime snack (mixed with yogurt, ice cream, chocolate 
milk, etc).  It's very slowly digested, helps keep the blood sugar up over 
many hours.  It's the "secret" ingredient in diabetes bars such as Extend, 
Gluc-O-Bar and Nite Bites - products you may also find useful.  Might also 
want to talk to your endo about the possibility that you have gastroparesis 
- delayed emptying of the stomach related to autonomic neuropathy.   There 
are some medications that can help with that.  Good luck to you in finding
