[IP] Future Victims of Pump Failure

I am concerned about the welfare of future newly diagnosed diabetics
who are lucky enough to be able to acquire one of the new pumps (Cozmo,
512, and whatever else comes along) right away. Unless these people get
a good, thorough education they will not be prepared to handle the
calculations normally done by their pump. Sure, the pump manufacturer
will ship them another pump, but they will have to figure out how to
survive for 24 hours or so, until the replacement arrives. Inevitably
there will be a few unfortunate people who are math challenged and have
no clue about how to make do with injections. It's not likely to happen
very often, but we all know it will happen to at least a few.
