RE: [IP] Fwd: Waterslides and pumps

My daughter who is now 12 years old has used the waterproof case for her
pump but finds that it could get in the way. As an alternative this year
when we go to amusement parks/water parks she just takes the pump off all
day and reconnects when she eats just to bolus. Since she is running around
her numbers have stayed within a good range and she checks bg's every two
hours. Seems to work for her and she feels free for the day.

There's a possibility I may be visiting a waterslide park and wanted to know

from those who have gone before if it's better to use a sports guard (I have

a Minimed 508) or just disconnect. Any advise is appreciated!
